Can ChatGPT schedule social media posts?

Not on its own. Once you add SocialRobot, it can schedule, move and delete posts on the accounts you connected.

Can ChatGPT post to Instagram?

Yes, through SocialRobot. Attach the photo or video in the chat and say when. Instagram needs a Business or Creator account and doesn’t take text-only posts.
