Free UTM generator

UTM tags tell Analytics which Instagram bio, LinkedIn post, or email sent a click. Build tagged URLs with live preview.

What is a UTM?

UTM (Urchin Tracking Module) parameters are tags appended to a URL so Analytics can tell which campaign sent the visitor. Without them, a click from your Instagram bio and one from a LinkedIn post often look like the same “social” or “direct” traffic. With UTMs, each link carries labels that Google Analytics, Plausible, Mixpanel, and similar tools read when the page loads.

Example: https://yoursite.com/pricing?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=launch. Source = where, medium = how, campaign = which push. Content and term are optional for A/B tests or paid keywords.

Fill destination plus source, medium, and campaign. Spaces become underscores.
