Facebook Stories size & image specs (2026)
Facebook Stories size is 1080×1920 (9:16), the same vertical canvas as Reels. Feed stills keep their original aspect unless you crop them. Stories need a full-screen portrait crop. Link cards and Page covers use fixed canvases (1200×630 and 820×312), so treat those as separate assets from Stories and feed posts.

Best practices
- Use 1080×1920 for Facebook Stories size — full 9:16 portrait, not a landscape feed crop.
- Keep important text and faces in the center safe zone; Stories crop on notched phones.
- Keep feed images under 10 MB; SocialRobot keeps the original aspect and scales the long edge toward 2048px unless you crop.
- Prefer JPEG for stills when publishing through the scheduler.
- Crop Open Graph images to 1200×630 before you share a URL.

Common mistakes
- Uploading landscape Stories that letterbox on mobile.
